Woman Killed In Road Traffic Collision
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a fatal collision involving a car and two pedestrians in Co Monaghan on Saturday, 07 January.
Two people, a woman aged 55 and a man aged 60, were hit by a car shortly after 1pm on the N2 at Clonavogy near Castleblayney.
The woman was treated at the scene before being taken by Air Ambulance to St. James's Hospital, Dublin where she was later pronounced dead.
The male pedestrian sustained minor injuries and the occupants of the car were uninjured.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact gardaí.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Pamela Kenny have confirmed they have found a body. Ms Kenny, 52, was last seen in Delwood, Castleknock, on Monday (2 March) at around 10.30am. An appeal was launched into her whereabouts. Gardaí have since confirmed the body is that of Ms Kenny.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal accident in Co Kildare in which a 60-year-old woman died after being hit by a car. Gardaí said the woman was struck by a car at about 17:45 on Wednesday in Moyvalley. A post-mortem examination is due to take place at Naas General Hospital.
