Man Critical Following Mulhuddart Shooting

Gardaí in Blanchardstown are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident in Dublin.

A 38-year-old man was discovered with gunshot wounds at Parlickstown Green, Mulhuddart late on Monday, 05 December. He is being treated at Connolly Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.

Gardaí said initial investigations suggest that a lone gunman fired a number of shots through a rear kitchen window of a house, injuring the victim. The gunman is believed to have left the scene in a car.

Witnesses Sought To Crumlin Shooting Incident
A man is being treated at St James's Hospital after he was found in Crumlin suffering gunshot wounds. Gardaí found the man, aged in his 30s, in Sundrive Road on Monasterboice Road at about 4am on Monday. The scene of the incident has been preserved to allow a technical examination, due to take place later today, 20 June.

Man Arrested After Woman Abducted From Her Home In Co Longford
A man has been arrested after a woman was abducted from her home in Co Longford. The incident happened near Edgeworthstown just after 4pm on Saturday. The mother-of-four was violently abducted from her home when she was looking after her children. Three other children were also in the house at the time.

Four Injured In Dublin Shooting
Gardaí have said a man is in a critical condition in hospital following a shooting in Dublin. Three women were also injured in the incident. The shooting happened around 2.30am on Sunday morning, outside Hanlon's pub on the Old Cabra Road in the north of the city.

Garda Ombudsman Appeal For Witnesses After Man's Death
The Garda Ombudsman is appealing for witnesses after a man died after being arrested in Co Mayo. Paraic O'Donnell, 39, from Achill Sound in Co Mayo, was arrested at Cox's when Gardaí were called to an incident at the late bar around 1am. Mr O’Donnell was taken away by gardaí in a car, and subsequently died.

70-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Fatal Accident That Killed Cyclist
A 70-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí investigating a fatal road traffic accident in Gneeveguilla, Co Kerry. A cyclist was fatally injured when hit by a car in Scrahanfadda, on Sunday, 01 July. The elderly man is being detained at Bandon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4- Criminal Justice Act 1984.
