Man Dies After Car Hits Wall In Co Meath

A man has died after his car collided into a wall in Co Meath.

The incident happened at around 4:55pm at Clownstown on the Dunshauhlin to Navan road yesterday, 07 April.

The victim, aged in his 30's, was seriously injured and taken to Navan General Hospital.

However, he was later pronounced dead.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene and a traffic management system is in place.

Investigations are continuing and Gardai are appealing for witnesses.

Traffic Problems Ease Following Truck Incident
Traffic is reportedly returning to normal in Dublin after an overturned truck caused traffic chaos earlier. The truck overturned around 5:50am on Monday morning on the East Wall Road near the Point Depot. The truck and trailer have now been removed and a fuel spill was also treated.

Man Injured in Co Meath Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in County Meath. The attack happened at a house in Dowth, at approximately 9.45pm on Sunday. The victim was shot a number of times in the upper body and his leg. He is currently being treated at Our Lady of Lordes Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
