Man Attacked In East Cork
Gardaí are appealing for information after a man in his 40s was attacked in east Cork on Tuesday.
The victim was assaulted at Meat Shambles Lane in Youhal at around 3pm.
He is currently being treated at Cork University Hospital, however his injures are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Manhunt After Two Stabbed In Cork
Gardaí have launched a manhunt after two people were stabbed at Cork University Hospital. According to reports, it is thought the two men got into a fight with a third man on the ground of the hospital earlier today (23 October). The victims are receiving treatment at the scene, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Trial Hears Man Felt Suicidal Ahead Of Attack On Neighbour
A man standing trial for murder told gardaí he paced around his flat feeling suicidal before going to the victim’s bedsit and stabbing him, the court has heard. 39-year-old Lloyd Buckley told gardaí that he was contemplating taking his own life after taking some heroin and he called to the nearby bedsit of Michael Healy (62).
