Man Arrested Over Heroin Seizure In Cork
A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with seizure of heroin on Cork.
Gardaí searched a house in the The Glen on Wednesday, uncovering heroin worth an estimated €70,000.
A man was arrested at the scene and is being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Mayfield Garda Station.
Gardaí said the operation was intelligence led and a surveillance operation had been carried out prior to the search.

Three Arrested And Heroin Seized In Co Dublin
Heroin with an estimated street value of €650,000 has been seized and three men arrested by gardaí in Co Dublin. Gardaí have said that following an intelligence-led operation three men, aged in their 30s, were stopped and searched on Crumlin Road, Dublin 12 on Wednesday at around 18:30. The men were subsequently arrested.

A man in his 20s has been arrested after Gardaí discovered over a kilo of heroin in his car. Gardai seized the stash of class A drug and arrested the man in his 20's following an operation at St Laurence's Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin, yesterday. The operation was carried out by the Garda Organised Crime Unit.

Three men are being questioned after gardai seized heroin worth approximately €100,000 euro in Cork yesterday. Officers discovered the 0.5kg of heroin at a house in Brooklodge, Glanmuire, at around 16.45. The men, who are in their 20's, were taken to Cobh Garda Station yesterday evening for questioning.
