Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Gardaí in Bray have appealed for witnesses to fatal road accident in Newtownmountkennedy, just before 8am on Monday morning.
A 58-year-old male was seriously injured when his car crashed into a ditch at Kilmullen Lane. Paramedics treated the man at the scene, however, he was pronounced a short time later.
His body was removed to the morgue at Loughlinstown Hospital. A post mortem will be carried out today (Tuesday).
The road was closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision Examination, but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the collision or any person who came upon the scene to contact them at Bray Garda Station on 01 6665300, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Trim on thursday, 16 February. Amale pedestrian, aged in his 20s, was found with fatal injuries at the side of the Rathmolyon to Summerhill Road at approximately 8.50pm. The man is understood to have been hit by a car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
