Appeal For Information In Ballyfermot Assault Investigation
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses of a serious assault in Ballyfermot in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Garda were called to reports of an alleged assault at a property on Kennelsfort Road, Palmerstown at about 03:45 this morning.
Two men were found at the scene and have been taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital. One of the men is believed to be in a serious condition.
A third man was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The scene is currently preserved to allow for a forensic examination and local traffic diversions are in place.

Gardaí have detained four men following an intelligence operation in Co Dublin. Gardaí from the Organised Crime Unit, the National Drug Unit , National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and local units stopped four cars on the Kennelsfort Road, Palmerstown shortly after 9.00pm on Wednesday night.

Man Arrested After Shots Fired At Property In Dublin
A man has been arrested after shots were fired at a property in Dublin on Friday morning. Three men are believed have targeted the house on Oranmore Road in Ballyfermot at approximately 10am. A firearm was also recovered from the scene of the attack. The man is being detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
