Garda Appeal For Witnesses Of Fatal Co Meath Road Accident
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road traffic accident in Co Meath on Wednesday afternoon.
A woman in her 20s was killed when the car she was driving collided with a truck at Moyleggan in Batterstown.
The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and was treated at Navan hospital.
The road was closed on Thursday to allow a forensic examination of the crash site.
Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 8010600, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Public Appeal After Third Confirmed Case Of Measles In Ireland

An 82-year-old woman has died in a road accident in County Limerick. Gardaí said the woman was crossing a road at about 17:45 on Sunday in Croom, when she was hit by a car. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.

Garda have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident at Moyneard, Moyne, Co Tipperary on Tuesday 12 January. A 39-year-old female pedestrian died after being struck by a van on the Moynead Cross to Shanballyduff Cross Road at about 16:10. It is understood the driver of the van, a 55-year-old man, was uninjured.
