Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Crash

Gardaí in Co Westmeath are appealing to witnesses of a fatal road accident on the Athlone bypass on Sunday afternoon.

A five-month-old baby boy died after the car he was travelling in veered off the road onto the hard shoulder and collided with the crash barrier. A three-year-old girl was also injured in the collision.

The male driver and female passenger, aged in their 20s and understood to the children's parents, were uninjured in the accident.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Athlone Garda Station 090 6498550 or the Garda Telephone line 1800 666 111.

Gardaí in Co Limerick have reported the death of a 28-year-old man in a road crash on Thursday afternoon. It is understood the man died after his car collided with a truck at Cooga Cross on the Doon to Cappamore Road at about 15:30. Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Crash on N2 Finglas
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the N2 Finglas on Saturday 16 April. A male pedestrian was fatally injured when he was hit by a car on the N2 dual carriageway at about 3am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Dublin Road Crash
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road traffic collision in Walkinstown on Sunday afternoon. Garda said that a 44-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured when he collided with a car on Ballymount Road Lower at about 14:35. He was pronounced dead a short time later at Tallaght Hospital.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Crash In Dublin
Gardaí have reported the death of a 31-year-old woman in a single-vehicle road crash in Dublin. The accident happened at about 04:30 on Friday at the junction of Nangor Road and the Outer Ring Road in Clondalkin. It is understood the woman's car hit a lamp post. She was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
