Funeral Held For O'Driscoll Brothers

The funerals of nine-year-old twins Thomas and Paddy and 21-year-old Jonathan O'Driscoll have taken place in Charleville, Co Cork.

The twin brothers were found dead at their family home on Thursday afternoon.

The body of Jonathan was found later in Buttevant. It is believed that Jonathan stabbed his young brothers before taking his own life.

The funeral of the brothers was held on Monday at the Holy Cross church in Charleville, led by the boys parents and a large extended family.

It is understood that the twins are to be buried in the local ceremony, with Jonathan being buried alongside his grandparents in nearby Kilmallock.

Three Brothers Found Dead In Co Cork
Post-mortem examinations are to be carried out on the bodies of three brothers who have been found dead in Co Cork. According to Gardaí, nine-year-old twins Thomas and Paddy O'Driscoll were found at their home in Deerpark, Charleville, at around 5pm on Thursday. They were discovered with stab wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Postmortems Due On Twins Found Dead In Limerick Apartment
Postmortems will be carried out today on the bodies of twin brothers found dead in an apartment in Limerick yesterday. The remains of Peter and Kevin Moran were found after their mother had the landlord open the apartment Steamboat Quay in the city. The twins, aged in their 20s, were found inside the flat at about 3.30pm.

Young Man Killed In Sligo Crash
An 18-year-old has been killed following a two vehicle crash in Co Sligo this morning. The man who has been named Jonathan Bruen, from Ballaghaderreen, Co.Roscommon, died today following a road traffic collision at about 7.30am, near Ballymote Co. Sligo He died at Sligo General Hospital as a result of his injuries.

Thai Drowing Victim Was Dublin Nurse
The name of the young Irish woman who drowned on a Thai island on Tuesday has been released. She was Linda Crossan, a 28-year-old Dublin-based nurse. She was the only girl in a family of five children from Greaghdermotitt, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan.

Investigation Underway Into Body Found In Co Cork House
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of the body of a man at a house in Co Cork on Tuesday evening, garda have confirmed. The man's body was found by his brother shortly before 21:00 at the house on Castle Street, Dunmanway, Co Cork. It is understood the Polish brothers lived at the house alongside a number of other people.
