Men Airlifted From Scene Of Accident To Sligo Hospital

Two men were seriously injured in a car crash in Co Roscommon at around 19:30 on Wednesday.

The single-vehicle crash happened near Mountallen, Arigna, Co Roscommon.

According to garda the car crashed through the barrier at a junction, rolling down a bank and coming to a stop on its roof in a river.

The two injured, believed to be in their late 30s and early 40s, were airlifted to Sligo General Hospital.

Gardai at Boyle have appealed for witnesses to the crash to contact them.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man has been killed in a single-car crash in Co. Tipperary this morning. The crash happened shortly after 8am on Thursday on the road between Templemore and Borrisoleigh. Another man was also critically injured in the crash. Both men are believed to be in their twenties.

Carlow Car Crash Kills Two
Two people have been killed in County Carlow. A man, 23, and a woman, 18, died when the vehicle they were travelling in hit a tree in Kilcarry, Clonegal. No other vehicles were involved in the incident and the two killed were the only occupants in the car. Garda have appealed for any witnesses to the crash.

Woman Killed In Co Longford Collision
A woman has died in a three-car collision in Co Longford. The crash happened on the R198 at Cloonagh at around 7.20pm on Thursday, 30 November. A 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were also injured, however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The road has since been re-opened.
