Investigation Ordered Into 5-Year-Old Autistic Boy Left On School Bus

The Department of Education has ordered an investigation after it was discovered a five-year-old autistic child was left onboard a school bus on Tuesday.

From reports it is understood that the boy was collected from his home to be driven to St Joseph’s Special School in Balrothery, Dublin but the boy remained on the bus as the driver drove back to the depot.

The child was later returned to the school but reports conflict on whether the 5-year-old boy was left alone on the bus at any time.
