Gardaí Apeal For Witnesses After Man Hit By Bus
Gardaí in Dublin are searching for two men in connection with the death of a man in the city centre on Thursday night.
The victim, believed to have been in his 20s, sustained serious head injuries when a bus hit him, following a confrontation at the junction of Dawson Street and Nassau Street.
Gardaí are still trying to identify him.
It is believed he was involved in an altercation at around 5.40pm and either fell or was punched or pushed onto the road, where he was hit by a bus.
The death is being treated as suspicious and two men are being sought in connection with the incident.
Gardaí are appealing to them or anyone else with information on the incident to contact them at Pearse Street Garda Station.
Dublin Bus is also investigating the incident.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was hit by a bus in south Dublin. According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.
