J.W Martin Ltd was founded in 1911 by the Grandfather of the present Managing Director. The Company was founded to serve Millers and Potato Merchants in the North of Ireland.

J.W Martin was originally based at Little Patrick Street in Belfast, then Lisburn, moving to Balmoral in 1959. In July 1993 the company moved to its current premises at Prince Regent Road, Belfast.

The company has developed in recent years specialising in Oven Gloves for the major Bakery Groups in the UK. This product has been one of continued expansion with a wide variety of Oven Gloves being made available.

Over the years more of our production has been placed in India, Bangladesh and China where we have now developed close contacts. In recent years with Bulk Packaging being more popular we have grown sales to supply Industrial Bulk Containers (I.B.C's) to carry either 500, 600, 1000 or 1250 kilos.

We wish to further expand our operations in canvas and cotton carrier bags along with Jute shopping bags or wine sacks.
